a jackboot drenched with aromatic oils
The hallmark of any cinematic dystopia is a lack of font variety. Totalitarian film regimes always settle on one font, preferably from a technologically advanced future that never quite made it. An advanced, technological future with a fondness for angles in fonts. They use the same font everywhere. It adorns the sides of black battle helicopters that ruthlessly put down the rebellious rabble, if it’s occasionally roused from their narcotainment slumber. It graces the pages of soft and chewable baby books at the state baby farm. Imagine what the world would look like if it were ruled a horribly oppressive fascist dictatorship run by the staff of a Thai massage parlor. Audio Arttu Tolonen: Like A Jackboot Drenched
